How To Participate

Stations wishing to participate in the Tennessee Amateur Radio Association's Winlink Wednesday Initiative should do the following:

Step 1: Ensure that you are on the mail-back list. Simply send an email with the subject as "TARA Winlink Wednesday Test" to TARA@winlink.org (case sensitive). This only has to be done once to confirm that we receive your message and place you on the mail-back list.
Step 2: When completing the weekly objective, always start the subject as "TARA Winlink Wednesday" followed by the objective number listed.

Example: TARA Winlink Wednesday #1
Step 3: Complete the request as noted in the weekly objective bulletin.
Step 4: Send to TARA@winlink.org.

Guidelines

When participating every attempt to send via RF should be used. If you do not have an RF connection point, TELNET is absolutely an acceptable method of transmission. All WinLink transmission modes are accepted!

Submissions are accepted 24 hours from the cut off time. Current cut off time is 7:59 PM EST.

Starting at 8:00 PM EST, stations that have completed the weekly objective will be logged on the net logger in the order that the messages were received.
