Available Positions

Are you active in your local community with amateur radio? Would you like to engage others and share information about the association and amateur radio throughout the area? By joining as a Regional Coordinator (RC), you will be the first point of contact for our affiliate clubs and members. You will also have the opportunity to speak at clubs interested in learning more about the association.


Job Type:

Voluntary 5-10 Hours a month

Do you have experience serving on the board of a non-profit 501(c)(3)? Are you interested in helping to guide a program and assist with its growth? Our Board Members meet monthly with the administrative team to advance the association and enhance its offerings for members and affiliate clubs.


Job Type:

Voluntary 2-4 Hours a month


Qualification :

  • Full & Active Association Membership
  • Prior Experience on a 501(c)(3) board 
  • Ability to engage with others 
  • Open forward thinking 
  • commitment to the Volunteer State


Location :

Remote, StatewideChattanooga, TN

Have you participated in a net or two? Have you considered volunteering to assist in calling the statewide associations net on Saturday nights? If you are within range of the W4KEV repeater system or have an Allstar node, we can help you get set up to call the net!


Job Type:

Voluntary 1-2 nets a month 


Qualification :

  • Experience calling large nets 
  • Understanding of the TAC System 
  • Use of Tnet logging software 


Location :

Remote, Hamilton, Knox, Blount, SevierChattanooga, TN

Have you thought of a way that you can remotely give back to the hobby? Remote VE testing is a wonderful way to impact new amateurs or help upgrade others. No experience is required; all training and accreditation can be provided. 


Job Type:

Voluntary 2-4 Sessions a month


Qualification :

  • General or above 
  • Have never had your license revoked or suspended 
  • Willingness to learn and grow
