Membership is open to all licensed amateur radio operators in the state of Tennessee. As a TARA member, you will have access to both in-person and virtual events, including meetings, educational sessions, and community outreach programs. Active involvement of our members is integral to our mission to advocate for and preserve our hobby, which includes lobbying for amateur radio in our state. Similar to our approach with individual members, we actively seek engagement from clubs and groups in the preservation and advocacy for amateur radio. Our affiliated clubs play a pivotal role in the sustenance and advancement of amateur radio. As a part of our offerings, we provide an easily accessible online database featuring club information for interested parties seeking details about clubs and nets. Access to this database is granted to clubs that sponsor and hold membership with TARA. Moreover, we collaborate closely with our club sponsors to promote their events and disseminate other information on our website and across our social media channels, aimed at expanding the pool of licensed operators.
